The City of London, colloquially known as the Square Mile, is consistently ranked amongst the top three cities in the world’s to do business. It attracts the traditional financial markets and their advisors as well as the new unicorns of the TMT sector who drive a new wave of leisure experiences, like The Ned, which are considered to be making the City cool again. At any one-time dozens of major new developments are under construction, some of which designed to rival The Shard or Leadenhall. Competing in this space to attract highly selective occupiers to lease office space has never been more competitive. It’s why D2 are based here!

McKay Securities Plc approached D2 to develop a digital strategy for their newly branded development at 30 Lombard Street, named Aurum. The building’s exquisite and modern design, located moments away from Bank station and a plethora of high-end retail and leisure destinations, the Aurum brand exudes a refined work-lifestyle opportunity for business seeking to locate on one of the most coveted street addresses in the world.

D2 provided strategic consultation to McKay Securities Plc on the partnering of a major film and CGI production business to support the marketing campaign. Working closely with leading city agents at Knight Frank and Savills, D2 made a valuable contribution to selection and the oversight of the campaign deliverables in addition to the direct digital work we provided, reflecting the true spirit of collaboration to deliver a breath-taking campaign across traditional, film and digital.

FFormulated from the client-supplied brochure, web development specialists D2 developed a conceptual website, designed to takes visitors on a journey of discovery. Utilising a horizontal ‘staircase’ scroll and striking animation that showcases its modern and fresh approach to office space in the City; and provide information about the local area, amenities, gallery, specifications, floor plans and availability that really sell the opportunity to a local and global audience of prospective occupiers. The result is a UI/UX design that delivers intuitive navigation in a new experiential way; offering a combined clarity and bleeding-edge user-experience to attract target occupiers. Aurum is due for completion in 2018.
