The Recompute is made from corrugated cardboard, stuck together with non-toxic glue and treated with a flame retardant (just in case). Not only are the materials eco-friendly but there's less to recycle when it reaches the end of its life cycle.
New models for 2011 include a faster processor (the AMD Athlon II Quad-core 3.0 GHz), more RAM (4GB) and a bigger hard drive (500GB). Prices start at $599 (£375) with special deals for students and schools.
